Primary care mission

Primary care mission has always been an important goal of Impact Health Vietnam. Cardiovascular diseases among the underserved, underprivileged people are a serious concern for our local partners at Kien Giang General Hospital. We believe long-term preventive care focusing on identifying and treating people having high risk of developing heart diseases will not only improve their daily life but also prevent serious, debilitating, and sometimes fatal heart related conditions.

In 2019, we launched our primary care mission for the first time in Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province, in collaboration and partnership with Trung Cang multispecialty Clinic. Residents of Rach Gia city and surrounding communities, age 50 and over are eligible to pre-register for our services, as recommended by the clinicians we work with at TC clinic.

We hope to resume our primary program soon, after two years of interruption by the pandemic.
